The story behind TSL
It began with a simple belief about how homeowners should be treated.
Before TSL Landscaping, the company was known as The Smiling Landscaper. Founder Ethan Williams built the business around a belief that homeowners deserved more than a finished installation. They deserved clear communication, genuine care, and confidence in the people working on their property.
As the company grew, that belief became a more structured approach. Professional landscape planning, carefully selected team members, and direct owner involvement became central to the way TSL works.
Williams chose to develop one dedicated installation team rather than expanding into multiple crews. That decision allows him to remain connected to the planning, communication, quality inspections, and final walkthrough of each project.
