Membership cannot be bought

Character earns a place at the table.

OCOB selects owner-led companies for character, honesty, accountability, local reputation, and commitment to Brevard—never for payment, sponsorship, or advertising.

Who membership is for

The company matters. The owner behind it matters too.

Membership is selective and centered on owners who remain meaningfully involved in their company, make time to build relationships, and are ready to contribute to Brevard.

01

Owner involvement

The owner stays connected to operations, quality, communication, and customer relationships.

02

Monthly participation

The owner must be willing to attend OCOB’s monthly business-building lunches and dinners and take an active part in the room.

03

Community contribution

The owner must be willing to contribute time, knowledge, relationships, or practical support to OCOB community initiatives.

Not a sponsorship · not a logo rental

Money cannot create membership or influence selection.

Financial support, advertising, event sponsorship, donations, or vendor relationships do not create member status and do not move a company ahead. The OCOB mark is reserved for owners selected on character and alignment, then protected through participation and accountability.

From introduction to membership

We learn the owner before listing the company.

01

Tell us who you are

Share the owner, company, primary trade, service area, years serving Brevard, and why OCOB matters to you.

02

Sit down with OCOB

Talk through expectations, category fit, owner involvement, reputation, and the way you handle customers and problems.

03

Let character—not payment—decide

Selection considers conduct, communication, accountability, local standing, owner involvement, and willingness to contribute. There is no paid route around that review.

04

Participate as an owner

Once confirmed, show up, build relationships, support the standard, and help OCOB serve Brevard visibly and responsibly.
